Emergency Services Treat Person at Scene of Deadly Shooting in Downtown Seattle

Several people were shot in downtown Seattle — one fatally — on January 22 when a suspect opened fire near a McDonald’s in the city center.

Seattle Police said they were investigating a shooting involving seven victims, one of whom was killed. Police were hunting for one or more shooters who fled the scene.

Local media reported that witnesses heard a number of shots in quick succession, with bystanders forced to run and hide.
