Lacrosse Coach Hypes Team Up With Fortnite Themed Speech

A lacrosse coach found the best way to hype up his team of young men at a tournament in Westchester, Pennsylvania, on June 17: Lots of references to survival video games.

In a video posted by O2 Lacrosse team, coach Brendan Gorman can be seen giving a speech to his team before they compete. “This is just like Fortnite, just like Battle Royale,” Gorman said and the team erupts in cheers. “We got chug jugs, we got the gold star,” the coach continues naming items used in the game as the team begins chanting and cheering.
