【看CP學英文】來台旅遊時，許多外國人都會選擇優先前往台北、台中、高雄等大城市，然而當你遠離都市區便會發現台灣也有許多地區蘊藏了美景與濃濃的人情味，其中一個就是新竹市。
When tourists come to Taiwan, more often than not, they visit big cities such as Taipei, Taichung or Kaohsiung. Most people don’t know that there are many hidden gems in Taiwan that are just as deserving of recognition for their beauty and culture.
One of them is Hsinchu.
來自桃園的James Peng發現新竹的美後決定透過鏡頭捕捉市景日常，成為新竹最佳的「廣告」。目前就讀清華大學的他告訴The China Post他希望藉由此影片向大家分享新竹濃厚的歷史和建築。
James Peng, a Taiwanese from Taoyuan, saw Hsinchu’s beauty and decided to capture it on film, making an “ad” to promote all the city has to offer.
In an interview with The China Post, Peng explained that he had been studying at the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU, 清華大學) and wanted to share the county’s “rich history and architecture.”
James以公車為第一幕，慢慢帶入影片的開場白：新竹對你來說是什麼？
Peng opens his video with a shot filmed on the back of a local bus and asks his audience, “What is Hsinchu to you?”
短短一分鐘影片內記錄了當地的便利超商、小攤販、巷弄等，再以「新竹是＿＿ 」結尾，讓觀眾自己自由發揮，想想新竹在心中代表的是什麼。
He then filmed at various locations including a local convenience store, food stands, small alleyways, and closed the small clip with an open-ended sentence: “Hsinchu is___.” for the audience to fill in the blank.
影片一刊登於美版PTT社群Reddit討論區，馬上引起熱烈迴響，許多外國人也紛紛到留言區大讚James捕捉了新竹低調的美，甚至有些未曾到過此區的外國人也燃起了興致，表示希望未來有機會可以到此走走。
After posting his short film on Reddit, many foreigners flocked to the comment section to praise Peng on capturing the quiet beauty of Hsinchu, and even some who haven’t been to Hsinchu wrote that the place looked like a great place to stop by and visit.
其中一位外國人回應指出新竹蘊藏了如此多的風俗文化應該得到更多的關注，對此，James表示認同，即便他待在新竹已滿四年，每次出門都還是會發現有趣又新奇的人事物。
Responding to a foreigner who claimed Hsinchu is one of Taiwan’s most underrated cities, Peng said that after living there for four years, he still manages to find something new and interesting with every outing.
